Firm Philosphy
Lawson Willard Architecture is a full service architectural and planning firm in San Francisco. Founded in 1999, the firm includes one architect and three designers. Examples for the firms work can be found throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. Our concentration is on high quality projects in all fields of residential, institutional and commercial work with services that include design for renovations and new structures, as well as site planning, master planning and interior design. In addition, each year we take on several pro bono projects for non profit organizations.
Our design focus is to give each client fresh and inventive design solutions that are both appropriate to the project's context and responsive to the individual client's needs and aspirations.
As a small firm, we see leveraging technology as extremely important to our ability to undertake large projects. Our technology gives us the ability to provide, design and produce drawings similar to larger firms. With the advent of Building Information Modelling (BIM), small firms will excel in providing useful information to both clients and contractors. The BIM process is more efficient allowing us to spend more time on design and less time on documentation.
